Once the abutment is in the proper position, it is relatively easy to pick up the black processing male in the overdenture.
STEP 1:
Place the black male attachment firmly on the abutment and make sure it is totally seated.
STEP 2:
Hollow out the overdenture just over the abutment so it will fit unobstructed into position. Using GC pattern resin, fill
the hollowed out area with the wet powder. It is a good idea to paint some of the acrylic resin onto the attachment itself.
Make sure the patient is in light occlusion.
STEP 3:
Wait three minutes and then remove the overdenture from the mouth. Trim away any excess acrylic resin and you are
now ready to pick up the second attachment...
