In this photo, you can now see the placement of both implants. The one in the thick side shows a classic Brånemark placement with the head of the implant just below the crest of bone. On the thin side, you can see the final seating of the implant with the collar exposed on the labial (and also a little bit on the palatal). The threads, however, are completely in bone. Later, when both implants are uncovered and loaded, biological width will re-establish the bone height around both implants and they will both have about a millimeter and a half of collar ex posed...
