ERA Bar overdenture Surgery

The two top photographs show the procedure at the time of implant placement. The implant in the picture is in the area of the maxillary left central incisor. The crater distal to the implant is the site of the periodontal lesion surrounding the maxillary cuspid. The center photograph shows the defect filled with freeze dried cortical bone and the placement of the Gortex membrane. The bottom photograph was taken six months later at the second stage surgery. Note the total fill of the defect.
