This section is for patients who are not residents of Florida and would like to travel to Boca Raton, Florida to have their dental implant work performed by Dr. Davidoff, one of the world's top dental implant Prosthodontists.

 

Patients from all over the world travel to Dr. Davidoff's Dental Offices in Boca Raton in order to have Dr. Davidoff place and/or restore their dental implants. This procedure works out best if the patient will spend several months in the area, but occasionally, we have patients who fly in for various aspects of their dental work and then return at later times for completion. If you would like to consider treatment by Dr. Davidoff, you might want to check out what we did for one of our "long distance" patients and then read the guidelines below:

• Contact the office and arrange to send your dental records for review prior to coming to the area. This will give Dr. Davidoff a chance to familiarize himself with your dental situation and to determine what might be done to help you. Flora Gottlieb will be glad to assist you.



• Patients receiving implants must be available for up to two weeks after implant placement so that Dr. Davidoff can check on the healing.



• Patients receiving extensive grafting procedures may have to be monitored by another dentist if they leave the area during the healing phase of treatment.



• There is a second stage to the implant surgery which is done approximately 3 to 4 months after the implants are placed. You can make arrangements to have this phase done elsewhere, but it is advisable to return to Boca Raton.



• Prosthetic reconstruction will usually take between two and four months to complete once the implants are placed. Time restrictions may prohibit this phase from being performed in Florida and might necessarily be carried out elsewhere.
