Goals

The first goal is to give the restorative dentist a sense of the importance of implant dentistry to the development of a dental practice and the care of patients. Those practices which are fluent in dental implant techniques will flourish and provide optimal patient care in the 21st century and the design of this seminar will support that main theme.

A thorough comfort level with restorative techniques is essential to the restorative dentistry practice. Each participant will be introduced to cookbook techniques for restoring almost all of the implant required situations that they run into. There will also be some discussions on when to refer patients for advanced treatment scenarios.

Communication between the implant placer and the restorative dentist is essential and several forms and guides will be used to help streamline this communication. The art of referring a patient and working closely with the dental team will also receive prime support.
