Every couple of months, I see a patient in a similar situation to this one. This patient had subperiosteal implants placed about ten years ago. She has had a great deal of trouble ever since and is now terrified of what is in front of her. She has lost part of the implants and the remainder has been failing for several years. She keeps her bridge in with denture adhesive.
