These implants are actually designed to be placed without raising a flap, but in this instance, I was already inserting the IMTEC implants so it was easier to visualize everything at once. In the slide on the left, I have already placed my two permanent implants and the one transitional implant on the patients right. I am now placing the center implant starting with a hand wrench. |

The final seating of the transitional implant is with a ratchet wrench. There should be some definitive force in seating the implant. It should not be loose. |
